ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Layla is a Persian-American jewelry designer who draws inspiration from her heritage and the places she’s traveled. She’s especially drawn to the east-meets-west aesthetic of Art Deco and Art Nouveau, which reflects her own eastern heritage and western upbringing, creating a deep personal connection to these periods—where arabesques, bold geometry, and rich, jewel-toned palettes merge in striking harmony.
The foundation of PARVIN JEWELS is built upon a lifelong love of jewelry sparked by Layla’s grandmother, Parvin.
Layla's journey in jewelry began with that spark—a profound appreciation for the power and meaning held within a carefully chosen piece.
This personal connection evolved into a deep professional commitment. Layla brings a unique 20-year of expertise:
15 Years of Advocacy: Layla spent over a decade as a consumer advocate, guiding novice shoppers and ensuring they made informed, confident purchases. This experience instilled a deep understanding of what clients truly need and value.
5 Years in Sales and Custom Design: She later joined the trade, spending five years creating intricate custom pieces and mastering the craft of jewelry design and sales
