ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Layla is a Persian-American jewelry designer who draws inspiration from her heritage and the places she’s traveled. She’s especially drawn to the east-meets-west aesthetic of Art Deco and Art Nouveau, which reflects her own eastern heritage and western upbringing, creating a deep personal connection to these periods—where arabesques, bold geometry, and rich, jewel-toned palettes merge in striking harmony.

The foundation of PARVIN JEWELS is built upon a lifelong love of jewelry sparked by Layla’s grandmother, Parvin.

Layla's journey in jewelry began with that spark—a profound appreciation for the power and meaning held within a carefully chosen piece.

This personal connection evolved into a deep professional commitment. Layla brings a unique 20-year of expertise:

  • 15 Years of Advocacy: Layla spent over a decade as a consumer advocate, guiding novice shoppers and ensuring they made informed, confident purchases. This experience instilled a deep understanding of what clients truly need and value.

  • 5 Years in Sales and Custom Design: She later joined the trade, spending five years creating intricate custom pieces and mastering the craft of jewelry design and sales

Designing under the the name PARVIN JEWELS allows Layla to combine her advocacy-driven perspective with her distinctive designs, creating pieces that resonate deeply with their wearers.
